Abilities:  Can turn into a raven with armored feathers, razor-sharp claws, and speak almost like a regular human

Weaknesses:   Electricity, Ice, her feathers aren't strong enough to completely deflect bullets, and any portions of her body uncovered by them are vulnerable.

Appearance:

• Human: Stands at 5' 7”, has jet-black shoulder-length and fairly unruly hair, although her bangs are usually pinned, slicked, or otherwise kept back and out of her face. Unusually strong for her appearance, although there are hints of muscles underneath her lightly tanned skin. Otherwise fairly nondescript save for her eyes, as they are hetero-chromatic. Her right eye is brown while her left is a bright blue.
• “Halfway”: Retains most of her human looks, save for medium-long obsidian feathers covering most of her body. Her hands and forearms turn black and scaled, and her fingernails grow to resemble claws or talons. Large wings are also present in this form, although she cannot fly as nimbly or as fast in this form as her much smaller raven form. If anything, she is more likely to use them as either bludgeons or as extra shielding. Exposed areas tend to be her face, front torso region, and upper arms.
  
• Raven:  Not much larger than the “normal” ravens.  Her feathers have a strangely metallic sheen to them.   She also has two sets of claws (three in each) on each wing, much like the hoatzin or the long-extinct Archeopteryx.  She still retains hetero-chromatic eyes in this form.

Personality:  She is serious when she needs to be, but is otherwise very carefree (may appear too carefree to certain individuals, but hey, she gets the job done, so why complain?)  Playful and a bit of a prankster.  It's hard to get her upset about anything when she usually laughs everything off.

History:  Not much is known, but then, not much needs to be known.  If you are in the military and aware that Lorelei is a spy for the captain, you know that they are close, but not in which way.  She reports only to Steinmauer and doesn't mingle with others whenever she's on-base.  Rumors are that she has a life debt to the Captain.  Truth says that she is fiercely loyal and well-known for batting around people that speak ill of Steinmauer.

If you are of the Infected outpost, you only know that Kyrene is a fairly new initiate to the scouting division, and that she does her work well.  She's friendly, out-going, and is always willing to help out around the camp.  Someone as cheerful as her couldn't possibly be hiding anything, right?  

Other Information:  She is easily distracted by metallic and/or shiny objects outside of battle and may...”acquire” them for her collection.

Though not of much use as a conventional weapon, the shafts of her feathers will certainly cause a fair amount of harm if used to stab something or someone. Similarly, should her feathers drop or be removed in any way, their vanes will grow razor-sharp where they had previously been completely harmless to touch.  This applies to both her animal and “halfway” forms.  Handle with care.
